These are the lil’ sluggers that are fighting Congenital Heart Disease. If you are a parent of a child with CHD, you can contact us for a Lil’ Slugger kit or leave a prayer request to keep you in our prayers.

Jaxon Russell

Born: Sept 26th 2012

Defects: Pulmonary Atresia, ASD, VSD

Jaxon has had two open heart surgeries: one at six days old and the second at four months old. He is doing great now but will require more surgeries in the future.

Elliot

Elliot has had the Hybrid and Glenn at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His first surgery was at just four days old and his second was at five months old. He has at least one more open heart surgery in hopes to never have to have a heart transplant.

Holden

Braxton

Braxton had his first surgery at 12 hours old and his big switch open heart surgery at 6 days old at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital. Braxton is now a very happy 4 1/2 month old and is doing great!

Grayson

Was born with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, and has completed all three surgeries needed to sustain life. Cam will never be fixed but has been blessed to be mended

Kenneth

Kenneth received his first surgery at 6 days old. He only stood in hospital for a week and his expected hospital stay ways 3+ months and God showed us how awesome he is. He’s still fighting. He has 2 more surgeries and we’re hoping that’s all he’ll need.

Lincoln

Lincoln is a wild, spunky, Mr. Personality, baby brother to 4 preteen big brothers. He loves Sesame Street, Thomas the trsin, playing in any type of water, and can put away meat and potatoes like a man! He is definitely the light of our lives.

Anderson had one heart surgery at 5 days old to repair his CoA, as well as multiple other non-heart related surgeries. He will most likely need another heart surgery in the future.

Evan

Defects: tetralogy of fallow with severe pulmonary stenosis

Evan was born August 15 2001 with tetralogy of fallow with severe pulmonary stenosis. He has had 2 open heart surgeries and may need another heart surgery in the near future to replace his pulmonary artery.

Silas’ first open heart surgery was for the Berlin Heart which helped his poorly functioning heart last until his 2nd surgery which was a heart transplant.

Katie

Defects: WPW, clinical LQTS, PFO, SVTs, Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Katie is a strong Sudden Cardiac Arrest survivor. She is no longer taking heart meds and will have one more surgery to remove her pacemaker.Current healthy heart. PFO, SVT, and WPW pathway healed. Negative LQTS genetic tests.

Bailey

Defects: Truncs Arteriosus type II, an ASD, & VSD.

Daphne
